How far in advance can I book my MOT?

You can book your MOT up to one month before the expiry date (minus one day) and you will keep the same renewal date. For more information about this, Click Here.

How much is a service?

Our interim service is – £60.00 Incl. VAT *PLUS* oil and parts as required
Our major service is – £120.00 Incl. VAT *PLUS* oil and parts as required

Do you fit tyres?

Not at the moment. However, our garage is situated between two reputable tyre companies and so this is something that we can arrange for you. Contact us for more details.

If you service my vehicle, will my warranty still be valid?

Yes. We can liaise with the manufacturer to adhere to the guidelines they set out and can obtain genuine parts for vehicles under warranty. NB: Please let us know at the time of booking if this is something that you require as it is not always possible to order and take delivery of genuine parts the same day.

My engine light is on, can you solve this for me?

Yes, as part of our diagnostic test we can read and, where possible, clear fault codes. We can also investigate further if warning lights cannot be deactivated immediately.

What car services do you provide and what are the differences?​

We offer interim and major services for most makes and models. The interim service is primarily an “oil change” service and visual safety inspection, whilst a major service is more comprehensive. Please see our servicing page for a breakdown of the differences.

Can you tell me a price to repair a fault code?

Generally, no! Diagnostic fault codes are a useful guide in knowing where on a car to look for problems, and with experience it is SOMETIMES possible to speculate what parts or repairs may be required from a fault code; but they do NOT provide a comprehensive diagnosis. We always prefer to see and assess the problem with a vehicle first hand to build a complete picture. When we have seen your vehicle and examined other factors, such as, for example, how it drives, what it sounds like, and live engine data, we can offer a more informed opinion.

What type of service do I need?

This will depend on a few different factors, such as annual mileage, type of use, etc. We operate by making an assessment of the vehicle condition and any known service history in order to avoid fitting parts or undertaking work that may not be needed. If you are unsure which service you need, our knowledgeable staff will be more than happy to advise you. Give us a call today.

What MOT classes can you test?

We offer classes 4, 5 and 7.

Do you offer tracking?

Yes, we do offer a tracking service (front wheel alignment). This costs from £18.00 Incl. VAT (*if no complications). For larger vehicles, it is necessary to book in advance. Please call us for further details.
